Cupcakes oh cupcakes!

Last week and this week we had relatives from Kuching in our house. Had been busy bringing them around , for sightseeing and shopping. I manage to prepare some cupcakes for my sister in law in Kuching (hope she is getting better very soon). And i hope the cupcakes are still in good condition once they arrive Kuching (long journey).

These are the collections of cupcakes which have been kept for a while (more than a week) in my PC due to slow internet connection at home. The birthday cupcake with candle (long description..hehe) was requested by a friend of mine for her 30th birthday. The design was adapted from cupcake design website from (outside Malaysia but can't remember the site, my apology). Until today she kept the one with the candle , wonder how she preserve it.

Last but not least, a birthday cake ordered by Intan from Nilai for her 28th birthday (sori akak bagi lilin 25 tahun, tersilap , takpe awet muda :) . Choc cake with buttercream and fondant deco.

KELAS KEK LAPIS DAN ROLL / LAYER CAKE AND ROLL CLASS

Kelas secara hands on. Belajar teknik mengadun, melapis dan membakar kek lapis sarawak menggunakan resepi original kek lapis. Belajar 4 jenis kek, 1 jenis kek lapis, 1 jenis kek bercorak, 1 jenis roll dan 1 kek kukus. Peralatan disediakan. Hasil dibawa balik oleh peserta.

But since kak Ijan wanted to learn both cupcakes and novelty cake, so i don't want to disappoint her desire and spirit. Kak Ijan is a friendly person but a bit shy to be photographed :) ...Luckily Mai was interested to join at the very last minute, so kak ijan got her company..(tak lah boring sgt ek..)..Well, full snap of cupcakes my hubby haven't manage to upload yet...To Mai and Kak Ijan rajin2 lah practise lepas ni yer....;)

Kelas Kek Lapis Sarawak/Sarawak layered cake class

There were plenty of request for kek lapis sarawak (include roll) lately. Hence during my short trip to kuching last weekend i manage to squeze my time to bake this tulip roll. So, for those who are interested to join the class, you can contact me through e mail (irabakery@yahoo.com) or phone(013-2044141). The number of participants is about 4-5 ppl, for hands on class.

Terdapat beberapa permintaan untuk mengadakan kelas kek lapis (termasuk kek lapis rol) sejak kebelakangan ini. Oleh itu, sempat juga saya mencari masa untuk menyediakan rol tulip sewaktu berada di Kuching hujung minggu lepas. Jadi, sesiapa yang berminat untuk menyertai kelas kek lapis sarawak boleh hubungi saya melalui email (irabakery@yahoo.com) atau telefon (013-2044141). Jumlah peserta adalah seramai 4-5 orang untuk kelas 'hands on'.

I always love white chocolate and cheese cake. So this is the latest cheese cake i baked. It has digestive biscuits and roasted walnut base, with cheese and white choc plus strawberry filling. Its yummylicious and disappears in seconds....:)...

Disamping itu, saya juga amat menggemari coklat putih dan kek cheese. Jadi ini adalah kek cheese terkini yang saya sediakan. Di bahagian bawahnya saya gunakan 'digestive biscuits' dan walnut panggang dengan cheese dan coklat putih ditambah dengan buah strawberi. Sungguh sedap....:)...

Kelas Cupcakes Di Kuching Pada 28 & 29 Mac 2009

Isnin - 30 Mac 2009

Hari ini saya keletihan, semalam baru sampai dari Kuching. Menggunakan penerbangan Air Asia dan mendarat LCCT KLIA pada pukul 11.15 pm. Pukul 12.00 pm baru sampai di rumah, mengemas barang-barang dan ole-ole dari Kuching terutama sekali ikan terubok (fresh), ikan terubok masih serta sayur midin (my favourite). Pukul 2.00 am baru tidur.

Sewaktu kelas di Kuching pada 28 dan 29 Mac 2009, saya tak bawa kamera dan masih menunggu mereka yang bawa kamera dan berjanji untuk emailkan kepada saya gambar2 tersebut. (Tolong emailkan kepada saya irabakery@yahoo.com) Saya akan update kemudian.

Hari ni saya akan bertolak ke Kuching. Sampai saja di Kuching pada waktu petang nanti saya akan terus membuat persediaan untuk kelas cupcakes dan deco cookies yang dijadualkan pada 28 & 29 Mac 2009. Saya juga menerima beberapa tempahan kek pertunangan dan juga perkahwinan pada tarikh tersebut. Jadi hujung minggu ni merupakan hari yang paling sibuk buat saya.
